Where this usually goes wrong

You were called to stop the leak and you stopped it. The customer is still standing in a wet house asking who handles the drywall, the pad, and the cabinet base, and that is not your trade and not your equipment. What you want in that moment is one number that answers, gets there the same day, and hands the customer back to you when it is done. You fix the pipe. We dry the house.

What you get

Every line here is about what your client experiences after you hand us their name, because that experience is what your referral is made of.

Work goes back out to you

This is the trade and it runs both directions. Water losses reach us from homeowners with a failed supply line, a cracked drain, a water heater at the end of its life, and somebody has to do the plumbing. That work goes to the plumbers who send us mitigation, by name, and the customer hears who we are sending and why. We are not licensed for it and we have no interest in it.

Your customer is handled the same day

Call us from the truck and we take the water side that day: extraction, equipment set, and a written scope. Your customer gets one handoff to a company that shows up, instead of a list of three numbers to try tomorrow. You leave having solved the whole problem, not your part of it.

Free assessments for your customers

Any customer of yours can have a free moisture assessment, remote from photos you text us or on site. If the material is at dry standard we write that down and leave. You can offer it on any call where you are not certain, and it costs your customer nothing either way.

The jobs you hand off do not come back

Specialty drying is the reason: injection systems for wall cavities and cabinet toe kicks, desiccant dehumidification for hardwood and dense material, and heat where the assembly calls for it. Where growth is already there we are a mold remediation firm, so it gets contained and source-removed to IICRC S520 rather than sprayed over. Wet framing inside a closed wall does not dry because a fan is pointed at a baseboard.

You can see the job you sent, without calling anyone

One link, updated the day we take the readings: status, daily moisture numbers, numbered photos, documents, and the day equipment comes out. When your customer rings you next week to ask how it is going, you already know.

The partner portal

The job you handed off, day by day

You handed a customer to somebody else and your name is still on the recommendation. The job page is how you know it went well without calling us and without calling them. It is the same page your customer is looking at.

Status
where the job stands today, updated the day it changes
Readings
daily numbers at each marked point, including the ones inside the wall
Photos
numbered and dated, including the condition when we arrived
Documents
the scope, the estimate, and the drying log
Timeline
the completion date and the day equipment comes out

Most of the time your customer calls you instead of us, and you already have the answer.

Situations we handle for you

A supply line lets go at eleven at night. You cap it, and two rooms and the subfloor are wet.

We take the call at that hour and extract that night. Standing water on a subfloor for eight more hours is the difference between drying flooring in place and replacing it.

Slab leak. You reroute it, and the flooring and baseboard down the hallway are saturated.

We map how far it traveled under the flooring with thermal imaging and moisture meters, then dry the slab and the wall base. Slab moisture wicks well past where it is visible, so the readings set the drying plan, not the wet-looking part.

A water heater fails and takes out a finished basement.

Extraction, containment, controlled demolition of unsalvageable material, and structural drying with daily readings. You get documentation showing the failure was sudden and exactly where the water went.

The customer asks you whether they should even file a claim.

Hand it to us. We assess for free and put the damage in writing before they call their carrier. The claim is theirs to run and the decision is theirs to make. What we give them is readings and a line-item scope so they make it with numbers in front of them instead of a guess.

Referral terms

How the referral arrangement works

Sending us work is worth something and we treat it that way. A plumbing company that refers mitigation gets a compensated referral relationship, set up before the first job so nobody is guessing later. The terms get agreed in a conversation before the first job and put in writing. Nothing we pay a partner appears on a property owner's invoice, and no job is scoped or priced differently because a referral came with it.

Ask what the arrangement looks like on the first call. Compensation is never a condition of us taking a job, and you can decline it and keep every other part of the program.

Ask on the first call: (208) 391-5248

Yours to hand out

Concrete things you get as a partner. Most of them exist so your client’s next question already has an answer.

  • A live link to the job you sent: status, readings, photos, and the day equipment comes out
  • Free moisture assessment for any customer of yours, from texted photos or with a meter on the material
  • Cause-of-loss documentation naming the failure and recording the condition on arrival
  • Cards you can hand a customer at the truck: our number and a short explanation of what happens next
  • A direct line to the team at (208) 391-5248, not a call center or an answering service

Questions we get

Do you do the plumbing repair?

No, and we are not licensed to. Losses reach us with a failure that still has to be fixed, and that work goes back out to the plumbers who send us mitigation. That is the trade, and it is most of the reason this program exists.

Do I need to be there when you arrive?

No. Tell us the address, the customer's number, and what failed, and we take it from there. If we need something from you about the repair for the documentation, we will call you. We will not put the homeowner in the middle of it.

Is there compensation for a referral?

Yes. Ask on the first call and you will know what it is before you send anything. It gets set up once and it carries over to every job you send after that, with no paperwork per job and nothing to invoice us for.

Who talks to the insurance company?

The property owner does. It is their claim and their policy, and we do not run it for them. What we produce is the file the claim gets decided on: a line-item estimate in Xactimate, psychrometric drying logs, moisture readings by location, and numbered photos, written in the format a carrier's own estimate is written in. If the adjuster has a question about one of our line items or readings, we answer it. You are not explaining depreciation to a homeowner at nine at night, and neither are we.

What if it does not actually need mitigation?

Then we say so and leave. We would rather tell your customer the material is at dry standard and go than sell a drying job that is not there. You referred us on your reputation; we are not spending it.

Who bills the customer?

We do, separately from you. Your invoice is your repair. Ours is the water damage, and in most cases it runs through their homeowner's policy. The two never get tangled together on one bill.
